Just arrived is this latest upgraded DMR radio from Vitai, one of our Marine Band suppliers. We've been looking for a radio similar to the popular TYT UD-390 and the 380 model that preceded it.

This version of the radio features GPS as standard and shares the waterproofing capabilities of the marine radios - so using it in heavy rain isn't an issue - because it can be totally immersed in water - up to 1m deep for 30 minutes!

It can operate in traditional analogue mode, or in full DMR mode with programmable slots and colour codes. It covers 136-174MHz, 350-480MHz and can also receive broadcast FM between 88-108MHz.

The operating system has the familiar two frequency display and simple menu system, and is supplied with a USB programming cable. Software is supplied as a download. The radio is supplied with AC adaptor and a desk charger - and the 2500mAh battery ensure extended time between charges.
