This is brand new stock from a UK supplier - ready for dispatch by UPS.  The price includes delivery to you, and no hidden surprises -- like having DHL, or Royal Mail  add  on UK VAT and a handling charge - which happens on deliveries coming  into the country from China - DHL currently charge £11 handling, and VAT is of course 20%, making some of the ebay prices quite unrelated to your final bill. In fairness, this isn't the Chinese suppliers fault - the extra gets charged by the Government as items arrive.

 

We've been selling the  single band TYT's for some time now and they're solid quality  radios - the dual band version allows access to all the UK digital repeaters rather than just some of them. Software is  available on  the TYT website and a brand new version has just been released. The radio is supplied with the required cable - so you can start building your code plug as soon as it arrives.  It also has a drop in charger - you will need to supply a 13A to 2 pin shaver type adaptor. The charger supplied is multi voltage but has  the common European 2 pin connector.

 

It is supplied with a compact helical antenna

 

 

These are also IP67 rated, so using them outdoors in the  rain isn't a problem.
